StoStruct Research Group and its director participate in different community engagement and outreach activities. These activities aim to communicate science to students and the public, increase awareness, and inspire intellectual curiosity that benefits the community.
USU EERI Student Chapter
Faculty adviser & founder
Dr. Esteghamati established the USU EERI Student Chapter in 2023 and has served as the faculty adviser ever since. The chapter aims to engage graduate and undergraduate students in earthquake engineering research, build synergies with practicing engineers, and increase public awareness of earthquake risk in Utah.
