Performance-based early design of mid-rise office buildings

This project proposed a data-driven framework to incorporate the feedback of simulations in the design process. The suitability of the proposed data-driven framework for early design stems from utilizing performance-based assessments that account for input uncertainties and communicate results to a multidisciplinary team. The data-driven aspect then handles the fast-changing nature of early design and associated computational cost by learning from performance assessment data.
